Precision Dentistry

When you seek care at our office, you are assured that Dr. Caudillo and her staff utilize the latest in technology to enhance the quality of dental treatment.

Digital Imaging

Dental radiographs are invaluable aids in diagnosing, treating, and maintaining dental health. Exposure time for dental radiographs is extremely minimal. Dr. Caudillo utilizes Digital Imaging Technologies within the office. With digital imaging, exposure time is about 50% less than traditional radiographs, and radiation exposure is reduced significantly. Digital imaging can also help us retrieve valuable diagnostic information. We may be able to see cavities better.  A recent upgrade to the office has been the implementation of a Cone beam CT, three-dimensional (3D) imaging that allows for the ability to image bone and soft tissue at the same time and can allow for more precise treatment planning in dental implants and root canals and more precise diagnosis of disease.

Digital imaging also allows us to store patient images and enables us to quickly and easily transfer them to specialists or insurance companies.

Intraoral Camera

Many patients, especially younger patients, are very familiar with the latest technology and are comfortable with this high tech practice. Computers and TV screens are their primary method of information processing.

Dr. Caudillo utilizes Intraoral Camera technology that helps enhance your understanding of your diagnosis. An Intraoral Camera allows our practice to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth, and gums, in order for us to share this information visually with you.  With clear, defined, enlarged images, you see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations.

Soft-Tissue Laser

Soft-tissue lasers enable safe and effective removal of soft tissue.   Advantages of a laser can be that local anesthesia may not be required for pain control and bleeding can be minimized.  This is a great advantage for all patients especially pediatric patients.  Soft-tissue lasers can be used for periodontal treatment, oral surgery, biopsies, and even providing immediate relief for cold sores.
